Somehow many of the pictures within this blog became jumbled and I still have not taken the time to correct. The writings are from Koski's 2021 hike.
During the COVID shut down I am walking through my neighborhood with my backpack on testing the weight, testing how it feels and eating dinner at night in a local park. So I am practicing backpacking.

It is after midnight I am learning how to write an electronic journal using my phone and the word processor on it. My plan is to use a non-Wi-Fi connected device while on trail to record my thoughts, what I see, observations I make and stories about the people I encounter. When I get into town with Wi-Fi or a café where I can sit and make a blog post it may be easy to cut and paste what I write in the field directly into the blog add some pictures of what I saw that week and send it on its way. This is a test for my four corners loop maybe I could do my daily journal on this and then cut it paste it into my blog Well it worked it was not that hard so I could use Pages to talk and take my notes without using Wi-Fi and then when I get into Wi-Fi access I can cut and paste it into this.
I’m speaking into my phone and seeing how this will translate into making a blog post easy for me to do while on trail. I do not want technology to frustrate me so I am playing with it right now to reduce the amount of time I’m trying to tape while in the woods or the desert.
I am busy creating the tools I will use to communicate with the world while hiking the trail I planned. This blog you are reading is one tool. Another tool is my Instagram account linked to the left, and now I have created a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/fclta/
